Kanye West has long considered himself one the greatest artists who has ever lived, and from his work in rap, gospel, film-making and fashion, he might just have a point. He’s decided to add to his list however, by announcing on Sunday that he plans to premiere his first Opera next Sunday, November 24.

The opera, entitled Nebuchadnezzar: A Kanye West Opera, will take place at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, something the venue has confirmed, and tickets will go on sale today at noon. The opera is named after a Babylonian king mention in the Book of Daniel, and will be directed by performance artist Vanessa Beecroft. The only other thing known about the opera comes from the invitation, and it says it will feature “music with Sunday Service, Peter Collins Infinities Song.” Knowing West the opera is likely to be very confusing and experimental, but it will once again get him attention.

West released his latest album, Jesus is King, on October 25, and it was the artist’s ninth consecutive to debut at number one on the Billboard 200 albums chart. He also released an IMAX film by the same name at the same weekend. Both the album and the film are intended to help bring his Sunday Service to a larger crowd. Back in January of this year West rebranded himself as a gospel singer, with weekly church services that has attracted plenty of celebrity attention.
